The skier Federica Brignone, who is emerging as one of the strongest athletes in the history of the Italian national ski team, has been awarded the title of “Ambassador of Santa Maria Maggiore” because, despite her Valdostan origins, her grandparents reside right in the capital of Vigezzo. Mayor Claudio Cottini, who personally presented the recognition to the champion, expressed great satisfaction that an ambassador of the town is achieving success worldwide.
