Santa Maria Maggiore and Vigezzo Valley offer a rich calendar of events during the year. Music, art, folklore, wine and food are only some of the topics of this rich calendar:

• Friday 13^th August 2010: "Ludobus" in Santa Maria Maggiore.
  All children can play in a magic world: the "Ludobus", a funny bus with toys and creative workshops in it. Free entrance. For further information: Educativa territoriale CISS Ossola, web site www.ciss-ossola.it.
  

• Saturday 14^th August 2010: 12^th World Contest of Fireworks - "Fuori di Fuoco" trophy in Santa Maria Maggiore. From 9.30 pm spectacular fireworks made by the Chinese team will offer to the public a wonderful performance of light, sound and colour.
  
  
• 3^rd - 6^th September 2010: the 2010 edition of the International Meeting of Chimney Sweeps takes place in Santa Maria Maggiore. Four days of celebrations throughout the Vigezzo Valley with parades, folk groups, music bands, special lunches and many surprises for all participants!
