Friday

On arrival at the Hotel Miramonti, Alessandra will show you to your room, Fontanalba, whose facilities include a Jacuzzi. Waiting to welcome you is an aperitif accompanied by a taste of smoked Vigezzo ham and rye bread from the village of Coimo. Dinner, served in our restaurant at 8 pm, will offer a menu based on traditional local specialities and the finest Piedmontese wines.

Saturday

After a generous buffet breakfast in the restaurant, or if you prefer, in your room, you will leave for the Swiss town of Locarno by the historic little blue and white train, the “Vigezzina”. On your return from a day spent in the bustling lakeside town, you can relax over another excellent dinner in the restaurant.

Sunday

The day will begin again with a full buffet breakfast, and continue with a stroll through the village and a visit to the Chimney Sweep Museum. From here you will be taken to Alpe Blitz, a typical summer pasture with its picturesque cluster of houses, for lunch at the Rifugio del Camoscio including steaming polenta and specialities of the Valley.

Saturday

Alessandra will welcome you and show you to your room, Aqua Mirabilis, where you will be greeted by a bouquet of fresh flowers. Begin to unwind straight away with an aperitif on the terrace of your room, accompanied by a taste of selected local cheeses. Dinner will be served in our restaurant at 8 pm, the menu offering traditional specialities of the Valley and wines from our cellar.

Sunday

After a full buffet breakfast in the restaurant, or if you prefer, in your room, you will take the little “Vigezzina” train for a scenic journey to Locarno. You are free to spend the day as you please in this bustling Swiss town on Lake Maggiore, and will return in the evening to make your way home.
